ChronoTrack Systems, the industry leader in timing for long distance running events, is pleased to announce the 4th Annual ChronoTrack Systems User’s Conference to be held January 22-25, 2012. Paris Las Vegas will host the event in the heart of the city center of Las Vegas, Nevada. Recognized for being one of the best hotels on the Vegas strip, Paris provides a great backdrop for timers from around the world to experience one of the nation’s greatest cities while taking part in active learning sessions throughout the day.

The theme for the 4th annual users’ conference will be “Taking it to the next level!” The schedule for this year is certain to be pleasing to the valued ChronoTrack Systems Certified Timers, their staff and prospective buyers. On the agenda for this year’s sessions will be ChronoTrack hardware developments, next generation controller software and demonstrations, new client software and many more exciting additions to the ChronoTrack toolbox.

Known as the largest timers’ conference in the world, the ChronoTrack Users’ Conference is expected to bring over 200 people to Sin City. Registration for the conference will open on October 17th. Building on the tremendous success of the 2011 conference held in San Antonio, ChronoTrack Systems Staff is excited to reconvene with its valued timing partners in Las Vegas!

ChronoTrack Systems Europe continues to work hard to develop a strong footprint throughout the European running community and took a big step in doing so by timing the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin. The world’s largest all-women event used the ChronoTrack B-Tag as it’s timing solution of choice. The incredibly successful race in Dublin was the largest ChronoTrack B-Tag race thus far in the European market. ChronoTrack certified timer Tom Last has been working diligently to raise awareness throughout Europe and was the timer tasked to provide a timing solution for the more than forty thousand registered participants. “Using the ChronoTrack B-Tag enabled us to manage the logistics for Dublin with ease. The ability to print and encode tags to our specifications meant that changes were made very rapidly. The B-Tag proved extremely effective and the disposability of the bib and tag solution meant massively reduced workload for the event post-race. Production of individual times was rapid and accurate” said Last owner of TDL Event Services www.tdl.ltd.uk.

The ChronoTrack B-Tag was embraced by the race competitors who had traveled to Dublin from all over the world to compete in the prestigious event. “The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon, now in its 29th year, is one of the biggest all women’s single start 10Km road races in the world, with more than 40,000 entering. We were delighted at the efficiency of TDL Event Services and their ChronoTrack technology added Race Director Pat Healy, we decided to use the new B-Tag to record times for all 39,057 starters on June 6th 2011. The B-tag is integrated into the race number, and this greatly simplifies the process of distribution”

Started in 1983, the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon provides a fun opportunity for ladies to get together and share a common goal or purpose. Annually women work hard to complete the event in order to secure one of the races prestigious commemorative medals and ribbons! From it’s inception in 1983 through 2010 over three quarters of a million participants have taken to the streets of Dublin to showcase their fitness. The race continues to grow with the 2011 event marking the fifth consecutive year that more than forty thousand participants have signed up!

The conference will not only give users the opportunity to take a closer look at the revolutionary timing technology and new developments, but it also provides a great opportunity to network with other timing companies.

Sydney, Australia (May 25, 2011) ChronoTrack Systems, the industry leader in UHF timing systems is pleased to announce the addition of The Sun-Herald City2Surf 14k to be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Sydney, Australia. The City2Surf(the largest timed event in 2010) has chosen to use ChronoTrack Systems as their official timing solution provided by Rob Docherty of Timing Sports.

“For a race of 82,134 participants, the logistics of chip preparation and collection are immense. Our customers were pushing for a disposable solution and a bib mounted system was their clear preference. We did our due diligence on four different UHF based suppliers, but the ChronoTrack system was the overwhelming winner. ChronoTrack finished ahead of the competition, it was no contest” stated Rob Docherty.

In addition to the prestigious City2Surf, Timing Sports will be utilizing ChronoTrack Systems at the following events in 2011. The addition of these events totals over 170,000 competitors that will be using ChronoTrack in the coming months.
