ChronoTrack Systems and iSports are excited to announce their partnership has reached the next pinnacle. Together, they have secured the timing services contract for the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore to be held in December of 2011. With an estimated 65,000 participants expected to fill the streets of Singapore, preparations are underway for bringing the industry standard timing solution to the proud runners.

In 2009, Integrated Sports Solutions became the first ChronoTrack certified timer in Asia. In the years following, iSports has timed over a quarter million people. Using ChronoTrack Systems, iSports has developed a strong reputation throughout their region by bringing an exciting out of the box approach to take each event the extra mile.

“When iSports introduced ChronoTrack to Singapore and Malaysia in 2009 and 2010 respectively, skeptic organizers questioned the unheard-of ChronoTrack system and were reluctant to change. In a short amount of time organizers began to take notice and accept ChronoTrack when we timed small scale events with great success. The race is organized by the Singapore Sports Council. The SSC was formed in 1973 with the hope of bringing more active sports to the nation. They have done just that by developing the marquee running event in Singapore. Traditionally, the event has featured three races, with unique starting lines and routes for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K. New for 2011, the SSC has added a 5k Fun Run to increase the race experience for participant’s families and enthusiasts of all ages. Not forgetting about the future of the sport, the SSC will also host the Kids Dash providing an opportunity for children to showcase their talent over the weekend. The Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore will be an action packed event for everyone involved with the festivities on December 4th.
